Wittenberg-Birnamwood 12, Amherst 2
Wittenberg-Birnamwood advanced in the WIAA playoffs with a commanding 12-2 victory over Amherst on Tuesday. The Chargers jumped out early with four runs in the first inning and three more in the second before pulling away with a four-run sixth. Kendall Lex led the way both at the plate and in the circle, driving in three runs while pitching a complete game, allowing two runs and striking out five. Chloe Hanson added two hits and three RBIs, while Brie Ladika also drove in three runs as Wittenberg-Birnamwood finished with 13 hits. The Chargers used a balanced offensive attack and strong pitching to secure the postseason win.

Denmark 4, Kewaskum 2
Denmark advanced in the WIAA softball playoffs Tuesday with a 4-2 victory over Kewaskum. The Vikings scored all four of their runs in the second and third innings, then held off a late Kewaskum rally to secure the win. Olivia Frank provided the biggest offensive spark with a two-run home run, while Hazel Fields collected two hits and scored a run. In the circle, Maggie Frank and Shaelyn Kraschnewski combined to allow just five hits while striking out seven batters. Denmark finished with seven hits and strong pitching to earn the sectional semifinal victory.
