Around 6 a.m., officers assisted the Department of Corrections with a warrant pickup at the AmeriVu Inn on Waukechon Street. Multiple units responded and the subject was taken into custody without incident.
Just before 8 a.m., officers were sent to a 911 crash‑detection alert near County B and Waukechon Street. Dispatch reported “severe crash detection — rustling noise — no voices,” but no injuries were found.
Later in the morning, police checked on a family after a caller reported children outside for more than an hour, “dirty and with no shoes on.” Officers made contact and cleared the scene.

A series of arrests and warrants were processed throughout the day, including a pickup at the courthouse and another involving a subject turning himself in on an outstanding warrant.
Animal‑related calls were frequent, with reports of loose dogs, a stray beagle needing transport to the humane society, and a loose horse near County T and County K.
The afternoon brought a trespassing complaint in Clintonville involving a neighbor practicing golf swings toward another property. Later, deputies assisted after a neighbor allegedly struck a parked vehicle and left the scene.
