Freedom capped off a strong regular season with a commanding 10-0 victory over New London on Thursday. The Irish extended their winning streak to six matches and have now outscored opponents 25-1 during that stretch. New London was unable to slow Freedom’s attack as the Bulldogs closed the season at 3-10-1. The loss marked New London’s sixth straight defeat, while Freedom improved to 12-3 overall. The Irish head into the postseason with plenty of momentum after finishing the regular season on a dominant run.

Luxemburg-Casco 1, Sturgeon Bay 0
Luxemburg-Casco picked up a quality 1-0 victory over Sturgeon Bay on Thursday in a matchup between two teams heading into the postseason with momentum. Senior Emi Kuhn scored the match’s lone goal in the opening half off an assist from sophomore Laney Jauquet, giving the Spartans all the offense they would need. Luxemburg-Casco controlled play throughout the match, earning 11 corner kicks and keeping pressure on the Clippers’ defense. Sturgeon Bay goalkeeper Prudence Goettelman kept her team in the contest with 12 saves, but the Spartans’ defense made the early goal stand up. The win improved Luxemburg-Casco to 13-5-2 as the Spartans closed the regular season on a strong note.

Pulaski 2, Manitowoc Lincoln 0
Pulaski closed out the regular season with a 2-0 victory over Manitowoc Lincoln on Thursday. The Red Raiders struck once in each half, including a goal from senior Elizabeth Ryan, and never allowed the Ships to get on the scoreboard. Pulaski’s defense was strong throughout the match, while sophomore goalkeeper Tatum Wentland recorded two saves to earn the shutout. The win capped a strong finish for the Red Raiders, who entered the postseason unbeaten in their last five matches with wins over Notre Dame, West De Pere, and Manitowoc Lincoln. Pulaski improved to 8-5-5 heading into tournament play.

#6 Winneconne 9, Appleton West 1
Winneconne rolled to a dominant 9-1 victory over Appleton West on Thursday, continuing its impressive season with another offensive outburst. The Wolves scored twice in the opening half before erupting for seven more goals after the break to put the match away. Senior Suri Hottmann led the attack with two goals, while sophomore Olivia Godfroy contributed a goal and two assists as Winneconne piled up 26 shots. Goalkeeper Emery Sommers made three saves to help secure the win. The victory improved the Wolves to 17-2 as they head into postseason play with wins in four of their last five matches.
