
Kenneth R. Everts, age 94 of the Town of Deer Creek, Outagamie County passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
Kenneth Richard Everts was born on April 16, 1932 in New London as the son of the late Walter and Ruth (Schuh) Everts. He graduated from New London High School in 1950 and was united in marriage to Rose Ehm on August 1, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville. The couple lived for a short time in New London and then moved to Hortonville where they resided for close to 15 years. In the mid 1970s, Rose and Ken settled in Bear Creek where they were active members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Kenneth’s heart was with his farm, however he also worked as a manager for the Farm Services Feed Mill in Bear Creek, as a rural mail carrier for the Bear Creek Post Office, and also did accounting and tax work for many local farmers and businesses. Kenneth cherished his family and was always supporting his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a good example of a Christian father and described as generous, kind, gentle, and witty by those who loved him most.
Survivors include: 11 Children: Jeff Everts, Bruce Everts, Randy (Tana) Everts, Julie (Ron) Koepke, Tom Everts, Steve (Becky) Everts, Marcia (Serge Koening) Everts, Fr. Chad Everts (Legionary of Christ), Brad (Yvonne) Everts, Nathan (Miriam) Everts, and Aaron (Cassie) Everts.
34 Grandchildren with one on the way & 16 Great-Grandchildren.
Brothers: Phil and Wayne (Alice) Everts.
A longtime “adopted son”: George Fields.
Also numerous other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Ruth Everts, his wife Rose Everts in 2021, siblings Betty Lou (John) Much, Jim (Lois) Everts, and Rosemary (Jerry) Kamps, and a sister-in-law Ellen Everts.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kenneth on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11am at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek with his son Fr. Chad Everts officiating. Burial will follow mass at the parish cemetery and the family invites everyone to stay for a luncheon in the church fellowship hall following the burial. Visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5pm-8pm at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory South Location (299 S. Main Street, Clintonville) and again on Saturday at the church from 9am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek.
