OSHKOSH, WI – The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) has released the full rosters for the 42nd annual All-Star Classic, set for June 26–27 in Oshkosh. The event brings together some of the state’s top senior baseball talent, divided into four regional squads: North, South, East, and West, for a two-day, six-game showcase.
Among the programs well-represented in this year’s field: Seymour, Bay Port, Marinette, Waupaca, and Wittenberg-Birnamwood on the North roster, with Clintonville’s Ben Smejkal and Little Chute’s Dean Birling serving as two of the three North coaching staff members.
North All-Stars: A Strong Fox Valley and Northeast Presence
The North squad features 18 players drawn from across the Green Bay area, Fox Valley, and Northwoods regions.
Seymour sends two players in brothers Carson and Cayden Staffeldt, giving the Thunder a notable presence in what figures to be a competitive North group. Bay Port’s Parker Lawson and Marinette’s Chase MacGregor join them in the mix, while Waupaca contributes a pair of its own in Chase Beahm and Max Dolski. Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Zandyr Barke rounds out the headliner contingent from featured programs.
Coaching the North squad are Clintonville’s Smejkal, Little Chute’s Birling, and Neenah’s Jack Taschner.
