Marinette kept its postseason run alive Thursday with a 5-4 playoff victory over New London, ending the Bulldogs’ season. The Marines broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the sixth inning and added another insurance run in the seventh before holding off a late New London rally. Freshman Remi Ahrndt delivered a key solo home run for Marinette, while Brynn Coakley drove in two runs and Lilly Anderson added two hits in the win. New London opened the game with two first-inning runs and tied the contest again in the sixth, but could not complete the comeback effort. Ellie Winkelman struck out 11 for the Bulldogs in the season-ending loss, while Anderson earned the complete-game victory in the circle for Marinette.

Little Chute kept its postseason run alive Thursday with a 2-0 playoff victory over North Fond du Lac, ending the Orioles’ season. Bella Pfrang led the Mustangs in the circle with a complete-game shutout, allowing just two hits while striking out eight over seven innings. Little Chute scored once in the first inning and added another in the second, with Hayden Burton recording a double and Abigail Zouski driving in a run. The Mustangs managed four hits and worked through four defensive errors to preserve the shutout win. North Fond du Lac was limited to just two hits in the season-ending loss as Little Chute advanced to the next round of the postseason.
