WISCONSIN – Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has selected Anastasia Poull of Port Washington as Wisconsin’s 79th Alice in Dairyland.
Poull was officially announced during the Alice in Dairyland Finals hosted by Marathon County over the weekend. She will begin her term on July 6, succeeding current Alice in Dairyland Sarah Hagenow of Poynette.
As Alice in Dairyland, Poull will serve as a full-time communications and marketing professional for DATCP, promoting Wisconsin agriculture and educating consumers about the state’s diverse agricultural industry.
Poull attended South Dakota State University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in animal science, agricultural leadership, and agricultural science, along with minors in agricultural business and communication studies. She later pursued a Master of Arts degree in communication and media studies.
According to DATCP, Poull’s experiences in agriculture and communications helped shape her passion for connecting producers and consumers through education and outreach.
The Alice in Dairyland program has served as a statewide agricultural ambassador role for decades, helping highlight Wisconsin’s farming, dairy, and agribusiness industries through public appearances, educational programs, and promotional events.
The program is supported by several agricultural organizations and industry partners throughout Wisconsin.
