SHAWANO, WI – Young students from Sacred Heart Catholic School got a hands-on lesson in agriculture last week, visiting the Shawano High School FFA Petting Zoo at Hillcrest Primary School on Friday, May 8.
Students in three-year-old preschool through second grade made the trip to meet and interact with a variety of farm animals, an annual event that has become a favorite among the school’s youngest learners. The experience gives children the chance to connect with animals they may not otherwise encounter, blending fun with real-world learning.
