SHAWANO, WI- Shawano County Supervisor Tess Serrano has resigned, according to Shawano County Chairman Tom Kautza. Serrano turned in her letter on Friday, indicating her decision. The seat remains vacant for now. Chairman Tom Kautza said he will be taking interested applicants right away and making a recommendation for the boards approval soon. Serrano ran unopposed in the last election.
In her letter, Serrano sent out appreciation to many and said she enjoyed her time on the board. She also thanked Sheriff George Lenzner as Serrano spent time on both the Public Safety Committee and the Executive Committee.
