
Gloria M. Krieser, age 90 of the Town of Dupont, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at The Pines Post Acute and Memory Care in Embarrass.
Gloria Mae (Stuhr) Krieser was born on May 29, 1935, in the Town of Grant, to the late Elmer and Helen (Schmidt) Stuhr. She attended Marion School District and graduated from Marion High School. On November 25, 1954 she married Gary Krieser at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marion. Over her career, Gloria worked for a few different establishments, first at Hanson Glove, then Converting Inc. in Clintonville. She then went to work at Ray’s United Foods in Marion for a time before going to work at Lee’s Market where she retired. She was an active member at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion and enjoyed volunteering there in her free time. Some of Gloria’s favorite activities included doing crafts including painting, sewing, and quilting. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and going on walks. Gloria loved spending time with family and always made an effort to attend her grandchildren’s activities.
Gloria is survived by: her daughters, Denise (Kent Murray) Westphal of Fort Myers Fl, Lynnette (Jeff Keller) Mortensen of Marion, Yvonne (Roger) Robinson of Clintonville, and Michelle (John) Bonikowske of Amherst Junction.
Grandchildren, Aaron (Amanda) Larson, Derek (Leila) Larson, Megan (Clay) Johnson, Kay (Brian) Knight, Rachel (Josh) Henry, Ryan (Melissa) Mortensen, Becky (Jeff) West, Marie (Sean) Healy, Jennifer (Dell Porter) Zimmerman, Jamie (Brad) Schneidewand, Hannah (Nicki Roman) Bonikowske, and Emily (Tanner) Stubinski.
A special niece and god-daughter, Dianne (Larry) Reissman
Numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Sisters, Virginia Kauffman of Tigerton and Beverly (Carl) Wudstracke of Tigerton.
Brothers, Donald (Jeanette) Stuhr of Tigerton and Elmer (Karen) Stuhr of New London.
Sisters-in-law, Sharon Stuhr of Marion and Jackie Stuhr also of Marion.
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Pines Post Acute and Memory Care as well as the staff of ThedaCare Hospice.
A Funeral service for Gloria will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion, at 11AM on Saturday May 16, 2026. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday May 16, 2026 from 9AM until the time of service.
Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Marion after the service
