Shiocton heads into the new baseball season with plenty of momentum after a solid 2025 campaign that saw the Chiefs go 10-11 overall while competing in a tough Central Wisconsin–East Conference. The numbers tell the story of a balanced team, hitting .328 as a group while posting an impressive 2.31 ERA and racking up 163 strikeouts on the mound. With several key contributors returning, Shiocton has the pieces in place to take another step forward this spring.
Shiocton will benefit from experienced upperclassmen like Braylon Krull and Reid Flannery, who add depth both in the field and on the mound. With multiple players capable of contributing in different roles, the Chiefs have the versatility to mix and match lineups and pitching combinations depending on the situation.
After finishing in the middle of the conference standings a year ago, Shiocton will look to close the gap on top teams like Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Amherst. With a strong offensive foundation and proven pitching, the Chiefs have the potential to compete with anyone in the conference on a given day.
