Wautoma/Wild Rose turned in a competitive showing at the South Central Conference Mini-Meet #2 held at Mascoutin Golf Club in Berlin, finishing in a tie for fifth place with a team score of 186. In a tightly packed middle of the standings, they matched Adams-Friendship and finished just one stroke behind Wisconsin Dells, showing how narrow the margins were throughout the meet.
Leading the way for Wautoma/Wild Rose was junior Matthias Wright, who carded a 43 to tie for fifth overall and pace the team’s scoring effort. He was supported by fellow junior Grant Kulibert, who finished with a 45, placing him among a large tie for 11th. Senior Skyler Royston added a 47, helping solidify the team’s total in a competitive field.
Rounding out the lineup, Colton Buechner shot a 51, while Sophie Klimke posted a 54. Though those scores placed further down the leaderboard, they contributed valuable strokes in keeping the team within striking distance of the upper half of the standings.

Wautoma/Wild Rose continued conference play at the South Central Conference Mini-Meet #3 at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake, finishing in sixth place with a team score of 187. The Hornets again found themselves in a tightly contested middle of the standings, tying Adams-Friendship and finishing just one stroke behind Wisconsin Dells.
Junior Matthias Wright led the way once again, carding a 43 to tie for 13th overall and anchor the team’s effort. Behind him, Wautoma/Wild Rose showed strong depth with three golfers, Sophie Klimke, Colton Buechner, and Skyler Royston, all posting rounds of 48 to finish in a large tie for 23rd.
Rounding out the scoring group, Grant Kulibert added a 52, helping the team stay competitive despite a tightly packed leaderboard. While no individual cracked the top 10 this time around, the team’s balanced scoring kept them within reach of several higher-placing teams.
