WISCONSIN- Democratic-backed Chris Taylor won election to the Wisconsin Supreme Court on Tuesday, as the court faces key cases on congressional redistricting, union rights, and other hot-button issues.
Taylor, a state Appeals Court judge and former Planned Parenthood Wisconsin attorney, focused her campaign on abortion rights and defeated Republican-backed Maria Lazar. This marks the fourth straight victory for Democratic backed candidates, securing a majority on the court until at least 2030.
