Shawano Police were busy Sunday with a wide range of calls across the city. Officers responded just after midnight to an intoxicated person on South Franklin Street. That situation was handled without further incident.
Later in the day, police assisted with a vehicle lockout at Sturgeon Park. Authorities say the car was not running and no children or pets were inside.
A welfare check was conducted at Lakeland Storage after a report of a man lying on the ground. Officers say the individual had been running prior to being found.
Police also handled multiple 911 calls throughout the afternoon and evening, including one on South Park Street and another that turned out to be an accidental dial on Main Street.
Emergency crews were called to the American Legion on South Lincoln Street for a man found bleeding in a parking lot. He was treated and transported.
Late Sunday night, officers investigated a reported vehicle theft on East Division Street. The caller told police an older Buick was taken with the keys left inside.
Early this morning, officers responded to a disturbance on Aspen Court and later made an OWI-related stop near Franklin and Third Streets.
Clintonville Police were active throughout the day, responding to a mix of traffic enforcement, public safety calls, and community patrols.
Officers conducted several traffic stops overnight and into the evening, with multiple stops reported along South Main Street, as well as intersections at 6th, 8th, and 10th Streets. Additional enforcement took place near Highway 22 and Commercial Avenue late Sunday night.
Early in the morning, crews responded to a fire alarm on Spring Street. No further details have been released.
Police also increased their presence in neighborhoods, conducting extra patrols on 9th Street, Anne Street, and Rohrer Street, along with checks at the Pigeon Lake Boat Launch at Pickerel Point.
Animal-related calls included a report of a stray on Lakeside Drive and another animal complaint on Rohrer Street.
In the afternoon, officers responded to a mental health-related call on South Main Street, followed later by a disorderly conduct complaint in the same area.
Police also performed a business check on East Green Tree Road late Sunday night.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office responded to traffic complaints, emergency calls, and public safety concerns across the county.
The day began just after midnight with a 911 call on South High Line Road in the Town of Bonduel. That incident was later cleared.
Late in the morning, deputies handled multiple traffic-related complaints along Highway 29, including reports of reckless driving and a traffic hazard near mile marker 243. Additional reckless driving was reported at Highway 117 and Flambeau Road.
In the afternoon, deputies assisted Shawano Police with a situation at the county sheriff’s office involving a neighbor dispute and later provided a standby in Wittenberg while a resident retrieved belongings from a former home.
Animal complaints were also reported, including loose dogs in Aniwa that were allegedly chasing chickens and approaching children.
Authorities investigated suspicious vehicle reports in both Bonduel and along Old Keshena Road, where one caller reported a vehicle speeding before parking at a dead end.
Emergency crews were called to Bowler for a grass fire on Kolpack Lane, while later in the evening deputies responded to fireworks complaints in the Town of Wescott.
Other calls included a disabled vehicle along Highway 29, a vehicle lockout in Bowler, and multiple 911 calls, including one in Wittenberg with no emergency heard on the line.
The night ended with another reckless driving complaint involving a vehicle reportedly traveling on the wrong side of the road.
Separately, Stockbridge-Munsee Police assisted with a vehicle lockout near County Trunk A, where keys were locked inside a parked car.
