CLINTONVILLE, WI – Authorities say 23-year-old Taea Powers was charged in Waupaca County Circuit Court following a February 27th stop on South Main Street, where officers discovered cocaine, methamphetamine, and other drug-related items.
Police say a K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, leading to a search that uncovered drugs and paraphernalia inside a backpack and purse belonging to Powers.
Investigators later conducted a search of her residence, where additional drugs and related items were reportedly found.
The driver of the vehicle was also cited for operating while suspended and without proof of insurance.
