Holly A. Montoure, age 56 of the Town of Wescott, passed away on Monday afternoon, March
23, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and dog at her home.
Holly was born December 30, 1969, in Green Bay, a daughter of Gerald and Carol (Baake)
Kaiser. Holly attended school in Suring before attending and graduating from Oconto Falls High
School. Following high school, Holly worked building fire trucks at 3D Manufacturing. After
they closed, she returned to school, earning her bachelor’s degree from U.W.G.B. where she
received a major in Education and a minor in Environmental Science.
On March 11, 1994, Holly was united in marriage to the truest love of her life, Carl Montoure.
The two of them shared many happy years together as well as two wonderful children and two
beautiful granddaughters that they love so dearly. Holly was a member of St. Jakobi Lutheran
Church where she celebrated her deep faith. Holly joined the Sacred Heart school family where
she taught many different grades and subjects. Her last few years she taught art which was her
passion. Holly enjoyed gardening, raising her chickens, and spending time with her children and
grandchildren. When she wasn’t outside enjoying nature or teaching, she spent her time at her
store (Staff of Life) which she owned with her daughter Miranda.
Holly loved working at the store and cherished the conversations and relationships she built with all of her wonderful customers. Holly touched so many lives and will be so deeply missed by so many.
Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the Town of Wescott; her children, Cohl (Amber
VanLanen) Berendt of Gillett, and Miranda (Tyler) Hoyer of Shawano; her granddaughters,
Nimue and Willow Berendt, and Emma VanLanen; her brothers and sister, Greg (Lori) Kaiser of
Oconto Falls, Missy (Jeff) Pashek of Oconto Falls, and Bob (Nikki) Kaiser of Coleman; father-
and mother-law, Ron and Kelly Montoure; sister-in-law, Laura Kaiser; brother-in-law, Kent
(Holli) Montoure; lifelong best friend, Lori (Tim) Vomastic; longtime friend, Ralph Edwards;
and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Holly was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Al Kaiser; and close family friend, Chris Mayotte. A memorial service for Holly Montoure will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church Town of Richmond. Pastor Travis Kleinschmidt will officiate.
Visitation will begin at the church at 9:30 and continue until the time of service. Burial will take
place in the St. Jakobi Lutheran Church Cemetery.
