NEW LONDON, WI – The New London School District has selected a new leader for its high school, appointing Riley Schussler as the next principal of New London High School.
The school board approved the appointment at a recent meeting, with Schussler set to officially begin his new role on July 1. He currently serves as interim co-principal and has been part of the district since 2020, previously working as a student success coordinator and school counselor.
District officials say Schussler has built strong relationships with students, staff, and families during his time in New London, while also supporting academic growth and student well-being.
Schussler holds degrees in psychology, school counseling, and educational leadership, bringing a well-rounded background to the position.
He is expected to take over leadership of the high school ahead of the 2026–27 school year.
