SHAWANO COUNTY, WI – Families and youth interested in being part of Shawano County 4-H are being encouraged to sign up soon as the enrollment deadline approaches.
Megan Suehring, 4-H Program Educator with UW–Madison Division of Extension in Shawano County, says families who want to participate in programs and activities connected to the Shawano County Fair must be enrolled by February 1st.
Suehring explains that signing up early helps ensure members and families stay connected and receive important updates, deadlines, and opportunities throughout the year. She adds that while current members are re-enrolling, new families are also welcome to join and explore everything 4-H has to offer.
For those unsure how to begin, Suehring says families can contact the Extension office for help getting started. Staff can provide beginner information and guide families through the online 4-H enrollment system.
Suehring reminds families that February 1st is the deadline to both join and re-enroll in Shawano County 4-H.
