Boogren Gets 15 Years After Federal Court Sentence

GREEN BAY, WI-  A Shawano man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for sexually assaulting a toddler and distributing videos of the abuse. Twenty-nine-year-old Brandon Boogren pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography. Investigators say the case began in June 2025, when the FBI’s Green Bay office was alerted by officials in Houston after videos were discovered during a separate investigation. Authorities say the videos were created and sent from the Shawano area and were linked to an online interaction in which Boogren was deceived by someone posing as a woman. Following his prison sentence, Boogren will serve five years of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender.
