NEW LONDON, WI – It was a doubleheader sweep for the New London Bulldogs to finish off 2025 as the Bulldogs dispatched the visiting Clintonville Truckers in both girls and boys action.
Girls: New London 72, Clintonville 32
It was all New London from the start as the Bulldogs defense proved tough forcing 16 Clintonville turnovers and jumping out to a 31-14 lead. The Bulldogs did not let their foot off the gas as they cruised in the 2nd half again with a half court press and forcing more turnovers.
Leaders for Clintonville in scoring were Zoey Ferg with 7 points and Morgan Retzlaff with 7 points as well.
Leaders for New London were Morgan Jones with 11 points and Jenna Handschke, Chesney Magolski and Ella Grable for New London all had 10 points.
With the win, New London improved to 5-6 overall, Clintonville dropped to 1-8.
Boys: New London 83, Clintonville 39
It was a hot shooting night for the Bulldogs as the New London starters caught fire right out of the gate. Ryan Dalhoe for New London had 18 first half points, Joseph Daly had 11 first half points and Parker Heise had 10.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a quick halftime lead with their size and speed in the paint as it was 48-16 at the half.
Leaders for Clintonville were Carter Mauel with 19 points and Max Young with 12 points.
Leaders for New London were Ryan Dalhoe with 24 points and Parker Heise finished with 22 points while Joseph Daly had 18 points.
With the win, New London improved to 4-5 overall, Clintonville dropped to 1-7.
