PULASKI, WI – The Wisconsin School Counselor Association has selected Pulaski’s Candice Bogacz as the recipient of its 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring her nearly two decades of dedicated service to students and families. Bogacz serves as the school counselor at Glenbrook Elementary, where she works with all 500-plus students through classroom lessons, small-group sessions, and one-on-one support.
Bogacz helps students build coping strategies, resilience, and confidence, skills she says are increasingly important for children facing modern challenges. Colleagues praise her ability to connect with students of every age while also collaborating closely with teachers and parents.
In addition to her daily work supporting young learners, Bogacz has also played a significant role in shaping the next generation of school counselors by mentoring graduate students through internship programs.
The association recognized her not only for her long-term dedication but for the meaningful and lasting impact she has made on the Pulaski community.
