The Bears upset the Eagles who are ranked 10th in Division 4.
Bonduel held Auburndale to below 15 points in each half, getting out to a 9 point lead at the break 22-13 and never looked back holding Auburndale to only 11 points in the 2nd half. This marks the Bears 6th straight win.
The Bears will have a well deserved 5 days off before their next game against conference foe Shiocton.
Bay Port 61, Fond du Lac 35
Bay Port continued its strong start to the season with a convincing 61–35 win over Fond du Lac on Saturday night. The Pirates jumped out early, building a 38–12 halftime lead behind relentless defense and control of the glass, then cruised through the second half to improve to 6–2 on the year.
Senior Melia Lemorande led all scorers with 22 points, knocking down three triples and going 9-of-11 at the free-throw line, while also pulling down 11 rebounds for a double-double. Junior Olivia Williams added 14 points, and sophomore Kailynn Thompson chipped in 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds as Bay Port dominated the boards.
The Pirates’ defensive pressure limited Fond du Lac to just 12 points in the first half and forced the Cardinals into tough looks all night. Bay Port closed out the game by matching Fond du Lac’s 23-point second half while maintaining control throughout.
