Tigerton 85, Port Edwards 26
Tigerton stayed perfect in emphatic fashion Thursday night, overwhelming Port Edwards 85–26 on the road to move to 4–0. The Tigers were dominant in every phase, exploding for 49 first-half points and never letting the Blackhawks gain their footing.
Tigerton’s offense was electric, shooting 52% from the field and racking up 39 made baskets on the night. Their ball movement was outstanding, 29 team assists, with seniors Sam Anheuser and Caleb Dahlstrom orchestrating a near-flawless attack. Anheuser finished with seven assists and zero turnovers, while Dahlstrom added five more without a single mistake. Cameron Carlson also chipped in four assists as the Tigers consistently found the open man.
On the glass, Tigerton’s physicality showed. James Brady led with eight rebounds (five offensive) to go with two blocks and two steals. Anheuser and Brody Miller added seven and four rebounds, respectively, each grabbing steals as Tigerton’s pressure defense forced 22 takeaways and held Port Edwards to just seven points in the second half.
Port Edwards, still searching for its first win, had no answer for Tigerton’s pace, pressure, or depth.
The Tigers’ hot start continues as they move to 4–0, while Port Edwards falls to 0–3.
Tigerton will face rival Marion in Oshkosh on Saturday.
