PULASKI, WI – It was a back and forth affair until the 2nd half as the Red Raiders of Pulaski got back to .500 on the season defeating the visiting Freedom Irish 67-51.
Olivia Sprangers started the scoring for Pulaski, scoring the Red Raiders first 8 points of the game. Freedom was finding 3 point shooting to be their success in the 1st half with 3 pointers from 3 different players.
Once halftime hit, it was a 29-28 lead for Pulaski despite 12 turnovers and 9 for Freedom. It was the threes that started to go down for Pulaski and spreading the wealth to other players.
When it was all said and done, and the dust settled between the first meeting of these two schools all time, it was a 16 point win for Pulaski 67-51.
Leading scorers for the Red Raiders were Olivia Sprangers with 18 points, Alissa Nischke with 13 and Anya Hasser and Josey Shaw both had 11 points.
Leading scorers for the visiting Irish were Ava Calhoon with 13 points, Jaydah Bork with 12 and Callie Anderson, Teagan Brown and Breana Dickrell all had 9 points.
