Bonduel 47, Menominee Nation 35
Bonduel continued its hot start to the season, improving to 5–1 with a steady 47–35 win over Menominee Nation on Tuesday night.
The Bears relied on balanced scoring and disruptive defense to take control. Cierra Schnell led the way with 11 points and 4 assists, while Emery Thompson added 9 points on efficient shooting. Senior Marlie Hartmann chipped in 6 points and 2 assists, giving Bonduel three reliable scoring threats throughout the night.
Where Bonduel really separated itself was defensively. The Bears forced 30 turnovers and racked up 22 steals, turning pressure into points and preventing Menominee Nation from finding any rhythm. On the glass, seniors Jayla Reinke (10 rebounds) and Juliana Jacobs (9 rebounds, 4 offensive) controlled the interior to limit second-chance opportunities.
Menominee Nation competed but struggled to generate consistent offense after back-to-back high-scoring games earlier in the season. The Eagles fall to 2–3, while Bonduel keeps rolling with its fourth straight win.
Bay Port 52, Kaukauna 42
Bay Port picked up its fourth win of the season behind a dominant all-around performance from senior standout Melia Lemorande, powering the Pirates past Kaukauna 52–42 on Tuesday night.
Lemorande was the difference-maker, stacking up 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 7-of-14 from the field and knocking down four threes. Olivia Williams added 14 points and 3 assists, and Ava Nagel provided a steady boost with 6 points and 6 rebounds off efficient shooting.
Bay Port controlled the game from the start, leading 26–20 at halftime and matching Kaukauna’s push in the second half with another 26-point frame. Their work on the glass, 68 total rebounds, 16 offensive, created second-chance opportunities that Kaukauna simply couldn’t overcome.
Kaukauna battled throughout but couldn’t string together enough scoring runs to close the gap, falling to 1–3 on the season.
With the win, Bay Port improves to 4–2.
Kimberly 43, De Pere 42
In a battle between the Fox Valley and the FRCC, No. 2 Kimberly stayed unbeaten with a dramatic 43–42 road win over De Pere on Tuesday night.
Kimberly trailed 24–17 at halftime but locked in defensively over the final 18 minutes, outscoring the Redbirds 26–18 after the break to escape with the one-point victory and move to 5–0.
The Papermakers leaned on their trio of standouts, Haylie Dulas (JR): 14 points, 4 rebounds, and a perfect 6-for-6 at the line and Ava Van Vonderen (SO): 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks and Emily Urban (SR): 9 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and the team’s lone made three
Kimberly shot just 29.5% from the field but made up for it with toughness on the boards, rim protection (5 blocks), and clutch free-throw shooting, 14-for-14 at the stripe proved crucial in a one-possession game.
De Pere controlled the first half but couldn’t hold off Kimberly’s late surge. The Redbirds fall to 3–2.
