CoVantage Cares Campaign Aims to Raise $50,000 for Shawano United Way

SHAWANO, WI – CoVantage Credit Union’s annual CoVantage Cares Giving Tuesday campaign is underway, and organizers say community support continues to grow as more local nonprofits benefit from the two-week fundraising effort. Adam Gast of CoVantage says the campaign runs through December 16, with a goal of raising $50,000 for Shawano United Way during that time.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the CoVantage Cares initiative, and once again the credit union will match donations to increase the impact for organizations across the region. Shawano Area United Way Director Uriah Williams says the partnership is a natural fit, noting CoVantage’s long-standing involvement in community projects and recent support for programs such as the local diaper bank.

“We’ve worked with CoVantage on several projects throughout the year,” Williams said, adding that the credit union’s continued support strengthens essential services for families in need.

The campaign continues through December 16, giving Shawano County residents more opportunities to give back and support local families during the holiday season.
