NEW LONDON, WI – The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle season is underway, and organizers in New London are inviting the community to a special benefit concert aimed at boosting local holiday donations. Campaign coordinator James Roberts says the event will feature multiple artists performing throughout the day, giving residents a chance to enjoy live music while supporting a vital cause.
The concert will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to stop in at any time to place a donation in the kettle and enjoy the performances.
Roberts noted the importance of having volunteer bell ringers on-site during the event, saying donations are exponentially higher when somebody’s there ringing than when there’s not. He says the New London area is still in need of volunteers, particularly for the concert and the busy holiday stretch that follows.
Anyone interested in ringing the bell can sign up at RegisterToRing.com or contact Roberts directly at 920-819-1889.
