SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano School District has officially relocated its central administrative offices to Olga Brener Elementary, a move Superintendent Kurt Krizan says is part of a broader transition tied to ongoing construction projects across the district.
Krizan says the relocation marks a key milestone in the district’s $51.23 million referendum-approved improvement plan. “This was part of our $51.23 million referendum project, and kind of the end of the first summer of projects is signified by this move,” he explained.
The shift is also necessary as major upgrades continue at Shawano High School, including significant improvements to the weight room and fitness center. With construction active, the district needed a safe and functional space to operate its central office services.
Krizan adds that the new location will be easier for families and community members to find. “We have signage out there for a specific entrance for us at Olga Brener on the north side of the building, along with a parking lot,” he said.
He also notes that the move strengthens the district’s overall efficiency. By positioning the central office at Olga Brener, Krizan says administrative services are now more centrally located and closer to all schools within the district, creating a more streamlined and accessible hub for students, staff, and families.
