KESHENA, WI – The College of Menominee Nation has received a transformative $10 million gift from the MacKenzie Scott Foundation, one of the largest donations in the institution’s history. College President Dr. Christopher Caldwell says the funding will significantly strengthen academic programs, expand student-support services, and create new professional pathways for future graduates. Caldwell notes that Tribal colleges often operate with limited resources despite serving as essential pillars of Tribal sovereignty, cultural preservation, and higher-education access in underserved Native communities.
