Suring Girls Poised for Big Jump in M&O
The Suring High School GirlsBasketball Preview Spotlight is presented by Bay Bank with locations in Keshena and Green Bay. It is also sponsored by Great Lakes Trailers and Suring Automotive.
The Suring girls return nearly their entire roster from last season’s 11–14 team, including all five top scorers, giving them one of the most experienced units in the M&O Conference. It all starts with Bunny Cramer, who averaged 15 points, hit 40+ threes, and is one of the league’s top returning scorers. She’ll once again be the focal point of the offense. Paige Pommerich also returns after averaging eight points and giving Suring steady point-guard play.
The Eagles bring back all of their ball-handling and scoring, plus a young frontcourt with size that should take a step forward. The big question is shooting efficiency after finishing under 30% from the field last year.
With a veteran backcourt, returning production across the board, and a rising frontcourt, Suring has the experience and balance to climb into the middle tier of the M&O and challenge teams above them.
