The Shawano Boys Basketball team moves into the new season without standout Logan Sipple, but head coach Dave Ambrosius believes the Hawks have the depth to stay competitive. Ambrosius says this year will be more “scoring by committee,” with Will Verkuilen and Jack Nordin expected to take big steps forward. The Hawks also get help from key role players. With several JV players ready to contribute, Ambrosius likes the balance of this year’s group. And in a Bay Conference that’s tougher than ever with the addition of Winneconne and Fox Valley Lutheran, he says facing strong competition will only sharpen the Hawks for postseason play.
