Oconto Falls Girls Look to Build on Late-Season Momentum
The Oconto Falls High School Girls Basketball Preview Spotlight is presented by Bay Bank with locations in Keshena and Green Bay.
Oconto Falls finished 11–15 last season but ended the year on a four-game winning streak, momentum head coach Tim Solarek says showed real growth. “Those four wins were against teams we lost to the first time,” Solarek said. “It showed how much we improved.” The Panthers return their core trio: Rylie Shallow, a first-team all-conference point guard and defensive leader; Ella Jahnke, the league’s top rebounder as a 5’8″ junior; and Izzy Otto, who steps into a bigger scoring role after three seniors graduated. With all three coming off strong volleyball seasons, and backed by a deep junior class, Oconto Falls expects to contend for a top-four spot in the loaded Northeastern Conference.
