Division 1
#7 De Pere (7-4) @ #1 Waunakee (11-0)
The Redbirds have surged through the playoffs with narrow wins over Neenah and Hudson, led by senior quarterback Holden Woodfill, who’s thrown for nearly 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns. His top target, Sam Robb, has been a key playmaker with 940 receiving yards and 13 scores on the season.
Waunakee, meanwhile, has dominated opponents behind quarterback Cole Krause, running back Colin Murphy, and a defense that’s allowed under 10 points per game. The winner advances to the Division 1 State Semifinals, with Waunakee looking to stay perfect and De Pere fighting to extend its postseason magic.
#2 Bay Port (9-2) @ #1 Franklin (11-0)
The Pirates, at 9-2, have been dominant in recent weeks, outscoring opponents 175-27 over their last four games behind senior quarterback Matt Stevens, who has tallied over 2,200 total yards and 28 touchdowns this season. Running back Brady Moon continues to power the offense with 1,876 rushing yards and 27 scores, while Brock Gauthier anchors a defense that’s forced turnovers and set the tone physically. Franklin, sitting at 11-0, has steamrolled its way through the playoffs with a balanced attack led by quarterback Keegan Best and running back Rob Beglinger, who have combined for more than 2,700 yards and 33 touchdowns. The winner moves one step closer to Camp Randall and the Division 1 State Semifinals, where Franklin looks to keep its perfect season alive and Bay Port aims to pull off a statement road upset.
Division 2
#2 Rice Lake (10-1) @ #1 Notre Dame (11-0)
The Warriors, now 10-1, bring a balanced attack led by quarterback Grant Pacholke, who has accounted for over 1,500 total yards and 22 touchdowns, and running back Jack Larson, who’s rushed for 1,339 yards and 18 scores. Their offense has been explosive down the stretch, averaging nearly 40 points per game while grinding out close wins over Kaukauna and Hudson in the playoffs. Notre Dame, meanwhile, has rolled through opponents behind junior standout Kingston Allen, who’s rushed for an incredible 2,681 yards and 45 touchdowns this season. The winner punches a ticket to the Division 2 State Semifinals, with Rice Lake looking to hand Notre Dame its first loss and the Tritons aiming to keep their perfect season alive.
#3 Oshkosh North (10-1) @ #1 River Falls (10-1)
Division 4
#2 Freedom (10-1) @ #1 Winneconne (11-0)
The Irish, sitting at 10-1, have been dominant defensively and steady on offense behind sophomore quarterback Owen Henkel, who’s thrown for nearly 1,900 yards and 15 touchdowns, and running back Axzil Eggert, who’s added over 900 yards on the ground.
Freedom’s defense, anchored by senior Nixon Heinke with over 100 tackles, will look to slow down Winneconne’s balanced attack led by senior standout Brody Schaffer, who has accounted for more than 2,400 total yards and 35 touchdowns this season.
The Wolves have cruised through the postseason, outscoring opponents 99-6 across their first two playoff games, while Freedom has knocked off Wrightstown and Kettle Moraine Lutheran to reach this stage. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Winneconne, where the Wolves look to keep their perfect season alive and the Irish aim to pull off a road upset to advance to the state semifinals.
#2 Little Chute (10-1) @ #1 Racine St. Catherine’s (10-1)
The Mustangs have been dominant down the stretch, winning nine straight behind the steady play of quarterback Jaden Hermsen, who’s accounted for nearly 1,200 total yards and 19 touchdowns, and running back Reece Joten, who’s piled up 1,310 rushing yards and 16 scores. Little Chute’s defense, led by Joten again with 74 tackles and 12 for loss, will have its toughest test yet against an Angels offense averaging over 40 points per game. St. Catherine’s senior Eddie Vinson has been nearly unstoppable this season with 2,600 combined passing and rushing yards and 42 total touchdowns, spreading the ball to standout receiver Lamont Hamilton, who has 13 touchdown grabs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Horlick Athletic Field in Racine, where the Mustangs will try to slow down one of the state’s most explosive offenses and punch their ticket to the Division 4 semifinals.
Division 5
#2 Amherst (10-1) @ #1 Mayville (11-0)
Amherst, sitting at 10-1, has been powered by junior Ayden Nerdahl, who’s rushed for 1,839 yards and 34 touchdowns, while quarterback Michael Glodowski adds balance with 1,442 passing yards, 16 scores through the air, and eight more on the ground.
The Falcons have scored 40 or more points in each of their last three playoff wins and will look to continue that momentum against a stout Mayville defense. The Cardinals, a perfect 11-0, lean on senior Landen Baker, who has 1,388 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns, while quarterback Emerson Mittelstadt contributes both through the air and on the ground for a run-heavy offense that’s piled up over 3,600 rushing yards this season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Mayville High School, where two of Division 5’s most consistent programs collide with a Level 5 berth on the line.
Division 6
#3 Bonduel (9-2) @ #1 Edgar (11-0)
Bonduel enters at 9-2, fresh off a dramatic 37-36 win over Kewaunee, and will look to keep its playoff run alive behind standout junior Carter Moesch, who’s totaled 1,412 rushing yards, 417 receiving yards, and 29 touchdowns this season. Quarterback Quinn Wesenberg has added balance through the air, while Ryan Westrich anchors the defense with 85 tackles and 21 tackles for loss for the Bears. On the other side, Edgar, one of Wisconsin’s most decorated football programs with nine state titles and 15 championship appearances, continues its postseason dominance.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Edgar High School, where the Wildcats look to continue their historic playoff tradition, and Bonduel aims to advance to Level 4 for the second straight year.
Division 7
#3 Coleman (9-2) @ #1 Kenosha St. Joseph (11-0)
Coleman, now 9-2, has relied on its hard-nosed rushing attack led by junior Kolton Peters, who’s piled up 1,282 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground, while senior Cole Berth adds balance with over 750 total yards and 13 total scores. The Cougars have survived back-to-back nail-biters in the postseason, including a 12-7 win over Roncalli, and will need another strong defensive effort from Bryce Seefeldt, who leads the team with 83 tackles and nine for loss. For the Lancers, senior quarterback Zach Rizzo has been one of the state’s most efficient passers, throwing for nearly 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns, while junior Christopher Kenesie provides a dual threat with over 1,100 total yards and 19 scores. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Kenosha St. Joseph High School, where Coleman will try to slow down one of Wisconsin’s top small-school offenses and advance to Level 4 of the WIAA playoffs.
