The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) is taking a proactive step toward improving sportsmanship and safety at high school athletic events with the launch of a new statewide campaign, “Hear It? See It? Report It!”
The initiative is designed to make reporting inappropriate behavior at games simpler and more accessible. After hearing feedback from athletes, coaches, parents, and officials over the past year, the WIAA developed a new reporting system that allows anyone to quickly report incidents of harassment, hate speech, or unsportsmanlike conduct using an online form or QR code available at events.
It encourages spectators and participants alike to speak up when they witness harassment, hate speech, taunting, or behavior that creates a hostile environment. Reports can be submitted instantly through the QR code displayed at venues or shared directly with event staff, coaches, or officials.
For urgent safety concerns, the WIAA advises contacting event management or security immediately.
