SHAWANO, WI – Shawano Police Chief Mike Musolff says when it comes to helping people in crisis, Safe Haven remains a trusted and essential resource for the community. The organization provides critical support to both sexual assault and domestic abuse victims, regardless of gender, offering safety, shelter, and a path forward.
Musolff says the shelter’s outreach services have made a lasting difference for individuals and families rebuilding their lives after trauma. He adds that Safe Haven’s work extends far beyond its facility, partnering with law enforcement, local agencies, and community leaders to strengthen relationships and ensure that anyone in need can get help quickly. “It’s amazing work between the Sheriff’s Department, Police Department, and all law enforcement agencies to be able to work with that organization to get help for people who definitely need that extra help,” Musolff said.
Chief Musolff says that kind of collaboration is what keeps Shawano a safer and more supportive place for everyone.
