@ Seymour Sectional – Crystal Springs GC
The Seymour Thunder are headed to the WIAA Division 2 State Girls Golf Tournament after claiming the sectional title at Crystal Springs Golf Course on Monday. Seymour posted a team score of 370, finishing well ahead of runner-up Kettle Moraine Lutheran (392) and Denmark (400). The Thunder were led by Lyla Schueler, who tied for second overall with a score of 85, and Morgan Lewis, who followed closely with an 86. Maci Heagle added a strong 97, while Monique Martinez rounded out Seymour’s scoring with a 102. With the sectional championship secured, Seymour will represent the region at the WIAA State Tournament, looking to cap off their standout season with a run for the Division 2 title.
@ Notre Dame Sectional – Thornberry Creek – Oneida/Hobart
The Hortonville Polar Bears Girls Golf Team is heading to the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament after finishing second at the Notre Dame Sectional held at Thornberry Creek at Oneida. Hortonville posted a team score of 343, just behind champion Bay Port (318), securing their place at state. Senior Hailey Cummings led the way with an impressive 83, followed closely by freshman Maddy Stueber with an 84. Olivia Kernen added an 87, while Tiamarie Diamond carded an 89 and Paige Clausen finished with a 92, rounding out a consistent team effort.
