APPLETON, WI- A Greenville man is accused of abusing his six-week-old son, leaving the baby with multiple broken bones and other serious injuries.
William Page, 35, appeared in Outagamie County Court on Thursday and was charged with repeated acts of child abuse causing great bodily harm, as well as strangulation and suffocation. His bond was set at $100,000 cash, and a status hearing is scheduled for Oct. 23.
According to the criminal complaint, the child was taken to a Neenah hospital on Sept. 29 after his mother noticed injuries to the infant’s mouth. Medical staff discovered a series of fractures, including both femurs, seven ribs, and a clavicle, along with a wrist fracture, chest contusion, and bleeding in one eye.
