GRESHAM, WI- Main Street in Gresham was filled with cars, music, food, and community spirit on Saturday as Jungle’s on Main hosted its annual Fall Harvest Day car show.
Organizer Cindy Jungenberg said vehicles began lining up as early as 6:30 a.m. to take part in the show, which officially opened at 10 a.m. after the American Legion posted the colors and DJ Jake performed the national anthem. Food vendors included El Tequilas, The Melt Shop, Red Way, King’s Donuts, and the Catholic Church of Gresham, which served a pancake breakfast. Jungle’s also sold hamburgers and cheeseburgers throughout the day.
Highlights included a pinup contest with three winners crowned, Miss Apple Dumpling, Miss Fall Harvest, and Miss Pumpkin Spice, as well as a people’s choice trophy awarded to Ken Casper’s seven-window green Chevrolet pickup. Live music kept crowds entertained, with All Shined Up, Missy and Bob Tucker, and Sins of Solace all performing. A courtesy cart helped shuttle visitors around the busy event.
Funds raised from this year’s car show will benefit Gresham School’s lunch program. In past years, proceeds supported Red River Riders therapeutic riding program and Flowing With Kindness. Jungenberg said the final fundraising total is still being tallied, but turnout was strong thanks to the warm, sunny weather.
Organizers have already set the date for next year’s show: September 26, 2026.
