#1 Winneconne 42, Shawano 0
The Winneconne Wolves remained unbeaten with a dominant 42-0 win over Shawano Friday night. The Wolves exploded for 35 points in the first quarter and added another touchdown in the second, cruising to a running-clock victory.
Senior quarterback Brody Schaffer led the offense with 120 yards passing and a touchdown while also adding a rushing score. Bryce Jones chipped in 81 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown on the ground as part of Winneconne’s 180-yard rushing attack.
Defensively, Hudson Samolinski had 4.5 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery to help keep Shawano scoreless. The Hawks were held without any recorded offensive yardage.
With the win, Winneconne improves to 5-0 on the season, while Shawano falls to 1-4.
HM Freedom 28, #2 Fox Valley Lutheran 17
The Freedom Irish used a big second-half surge to knock off Fox Valley Lutheran 28-17 Friday night in a key Northeastern Conference showdown.
The Foxes came out hot, building a 14-0 first-quarter lead on two Gabe Heiges touchdown passes and adding a field goal in the second to take a 17-6 advantage into halftime. But the Irish took over after the break, holding FVL scoreless while scoring 22 unanswered points.
Sophomore Axzil Eggert was unstoppable on the ground for Freedom, rushing 21 times for 175 yards and all four of the team’s touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter to seal the comeback. Quarterback Owen Henkel threw for 151 yards, with Aidan Aerts hauling in three catches for 76 yards to help keep drives alive.
Defensively, the Irish intercepted Heiges twice and clamped down in the second half.
#3 Amherst 34, Loyal-Greenwood 12
The Falcons gave the Greyhounds their 1st loss of the season in a matchup of regionally ranked teams. Amherst dominated all game, leaving only 12 points on the board for Loyal/Greenwood to muster. The Falcons improve to 5-0 while Loyal/Greenwood drops to 4-1.
#4 Lena/STAA 46, Gillett 0
Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas stayed perfect at 5–0 with a dominant 46–0 road win over Gillett, notching their third shutout in the last four games.
Senior Max Peterson led the Wildcats’ offense with 120 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries. On defense, junior Luke Koslowsky anchored the unit with 8.5 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and a sack as Lena/STA completely shut down Gillett’s offense.
The Wildcats have now outscored opponents 214–20 through five weeks and continue to look like one of the area’s most balanced teams. Gillett fell to 0–5 and will look to regroup as conference play continues.
West De Pere 52, #5 Pulaski 9
The second-ranked West De Pere Phantoms flexed their offensive firepower Friday night, rolling past Pulaski 52-9 in a dominant FRCC matchup.
The Phantoms jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead and exploded for 28 points in the second quarter to put the game away by halftime. Quarterback Patrick Greisen was nearly unstoppable through the air, completing 13 of 20 passes for 242 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Ryan Lutz added 145 rushing yards and three scores on the ground while also catching a 48-yard touchdown pass.
Pulaski’s lone touchdown came on a short run by Bohdan Schmidt, who led the Red Raiders with 129 rushing yards on 16 carries. Defensively, Braun Wotruba led Pulaski with 8.5 tackles.
West De Pere improves to 5-0 on the season, remaining perfect in conference play, while Pulaski falls to 3-2 and will look to regroup next week.
#6 Luxemburg-Casco 44, Sheboygan Falls 6
The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans continued their undefeated run Friday night, rolling past Sheboygan Falls 44-6 at home to move to 5-0 on the season.
The Spartans erupted for 30 points in the second quarter to build a commanding 37-0 halftime lead. Quarterback Eli Derenne was efficient, going 6-for-8 for 87 yards and four touchdown passes, three of them to Tatem Klaubauf, who led the receiving corps with 58 yards. Luxemburg-Casco also pounded the ball on the ground, racking up 251 rushing yards, led by Cameron Dorner’s 78 yards on just eight carries.
Sheboygan Falls avoided the shutout with a third-quarter touchdown run from senior Mason Richter, who also led the Falcons defensively with seven tackles.
The loss drops Sheboygan Falls to 0-5 on the season, while Luxemburg-Casco stays undefeated heading into next week’s matchup as one of the top contenders in the conference.
#7 Wrightstown 29, Two Rivers 19
Wrightstown used a dominant second quarter and a powerful ground game to take down Two Rivers 29-19 on Friday night, improving to 4-1 on the season.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Tigers erupted for 22 points in the second, fueled by two rushing touchdowns from senior Brody Wilson, who finished the night with 140 yards on 23 carries. Quarterback Daniel Buntin went 9-of-12 passing for 86 yards and added six tackles on defense, helping Wrightstown control both sides of the ball.
Two Rivers mounted a late push with 12 points in the fourth quarter, led by quarterback Noah Shillcox’s 217 yards through the air and a touchdown pass, but the Tigers’ early lead proved too much to overcome.
The win keeps Wrightstown near the top of the conference standings, while Two Rivers is still searching for its first win at 0-5.
#8 Oconto Falls 52, Clintonville 0
The Oconto Falls Panthers rolled to a convincing 52-0 win over Clintonville on Friday night, improving to 4-1 on the season.
Quarterback Nathaniel White was sharp, completing 9 of 14 passes for 109 yards and three touchdowns, all to Elijah White, who hauled in six catches for 61 yards. The Panthers’ rushing attack was just as strong, piling up 234 yards on the ground and three rushing scores to put the game out of reach early, building a 36-0 halftime lead.
Clintonville’s offense was limited to just 33 total yards, with quarterback Zachary Johnson leading the team in tackles on defense.
The win keeps Oconto Falls in the conference title race, while Clintonville falls to 0-5 and will look to regroup heading into Week 6.
#9 Coleman 48, Shiocton 0
The Coleman Cougars kept their momentum rolling with a dominant 48-0 road win over Shiocton on Friday night, improving to 4-1 on the season.
Junior running back Kolton Peters led the way with a monster performance, racking up 161 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries while also catching a 73-yard touchdown pass. Quarterback Cole Berth added 82 rushing yards with two scores and threw for another touchdown, helping the Cougars jump out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and never look back.
Coleman’s offense piled up nearly 400 yards on the ground while the defense pitched its second consecutive shutout.
Shiocton drops to 1-4 on the year and will look to regroup heading into Week 6 play.
#10 Marion Tigerton 48, Newman Catholic 38
In one of the highest-scoring games of the season, Marion/Tigerton outlasted Newman Catholic 48–38 to move to 5–1 on the year.
Junior Braylon Mielke was unstoppable for the Thundercatz, rushing 26 times for a staggering 340 yards and five touchdowns, including a 72-yard score that electrified the home crowd. Marion/Tigerton piled up 527 rushing yards as a team, wearing down Newman Catholic’s defense despite giving up 24 first-quarter points.
Senior Sam Anhueser led the Thundercatz defensively with 6.5 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. Newman Catholic falls to 4–2 but proved to be a tough opponent, keeping the game within one score until the final minutes.
HM Little Chute 42, Denmark 7
Little Chute exploded for 42 points to beat Denmark 42-7 on Friday night, improving to 4-1 on the season.
Reece Joten powered the Mustangs’ rushing attack with 106 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, while quarterback Jaden Hermsen added 35 passing yards on an efficient 5-of-7 night. The Mustangs controlled the game on the ground, rushing for 356 yards as a team and wearing down Denmark’s defense before breaking the game wide open late.
Denmark’s lone score came on a short touchdown run from Steven Kielpikowski in the final quarter, but it was too little, too late as the Vikings fell to 2-3.
With the win, Little Chute stays near the top of the conference standings heading into Week 6 play.
Stratford 43, HM Weyauwega-Fremont 14
Stratford put together a balanced offensive performance Friday night, defeating Weyauwega-Fremont 43-14 to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Quarterback Brady Berg was perfect through the air, going 4-for-4 for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Aaron Knetter led the ground game with 101 rushing yards and two scores, while also leading the Tigers with 5.5 tackles on defense. Zander Zawislan was Berg’s top target, hauling in three passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
Weyauwega-Fremont kept things close early behind quarterback Carter Birdyshaw, who ran for 174 yards and two touchdowns, but three second-half interceptions by the Stratford defense helped the Tigers take control and pull away.

The New London Bulldogs snapped their early-season skid with a 21-15 road win over Xavier Friday night.
Quarterback Cory Brooker led the charge, rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown while completing 7 of 9 passes for 73 yards. Senior Logan Ten Haken added two rushing scores and anchored the defense with 9.5 tackles, including one for loss. The Bulldogs’ defense dominated the trenches, posting eight tackles for loss and two sacks to stifle the Hawks’ offense.
Xavier made a late push with eight points in the fourth quarter, but New London held firm to seal the victory and move to 1-4 on the season.
Appleton North 26, Hortonville 14
Appleton North pulled away late to defeat Hortonville 26-14 in a battle Friday night.
The Lightning erupted for 26 points to stay perfect in FVA play. Hortonville answered with two touchdowns from junior Jack Holdren, who rushed for 66 yards on 18 carries, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap. Quarterback AJ Pheifer threw for 103 yards, connecting on 10 of 20 passes, while senior Isaac Behnke led the receiving corps with 31 yards.
The Polar Bears fall to 0-5 and continue to search for their first win of the season, while Appleton North improves to 4-1.
Tri-County 22, Almond-Bancroft 14
Tri-County improved to 5-0 with a hard-fought 22-14 road win over Almond-Bancroft on Friday night.
The Penguins and Eagles were tied 8-8 at halftime before Tri-County broke through with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to seal the game. Senior Jake Makaryk carried the offense, rushing 17 times for 126 yards and two scores while also hauling in a 25-yard reception. Quarterback Aidan Brewer added 94 rushing yards and a touchdown of his own, and Dominique Friebel led the defense with 12 tackles, including two for loss and a sack.
The win keeps Tri-County unbeaten, while Almond-Bancroft falls to 3-2 on the season.
Bay Port 53, Ashwaubenon 0
The No. 7-ranked Bay Port Pirates flexed their offensive muscle Friday night, rolling to a 53-0 shutout over Ashwaubenon.
Quarterback Matt Stevens led the way with 142 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air while adding 73 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground. Jackson Otradovec was explosive, scoring twice on just two carries for 142 rushing yards and catching a touchdown pass as well. Brady Moon added 64 receiving yards and a score to highlight the passing attack.
Bay Port’s defense was equally impressive, holding Ashwaubenon without a single first-half score and recording two sacks and 12 tackles for loss. The win moves the Pirates to 4-1, while the Jaguars drop to 2-3.
Pacelli 27, Iola-Scandinavia 20
The Pacelli Cardinals snapped a three-game skid Friday night with a 27-20 victory over Iola-Scandinavia in a hard-fought CWC clash.
Pacelli jumped out early with 14 first-quarter points and held off multiple Thunderbird rallies to secure the win. Junior running back Bryce Flaker led the way with 131 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, while also catching a 60-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jake Williams. Williams finished 2-for-7 passing for 72 yards and a score, giving Pacelli a balanced offensive attack.
Defensively, Sean Berna paced the Cardinals with 8.5 tackles and a tackle for loss, helping keep Iola-Scandinavia scoreless in the final quarter. The win improves Pacelli to 2-3, while the Thunderbirds fall to 1-4 on the season.
Crivitz 42, Manawa 0
Crivitz stayed hot with a dominant 42-0 win over Manawa Friday night, improving to 4-1 on the season.
The Wolverines exploded early, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and adding 21 more before halftime to put the game out of reach. Senior running back Brody MacNeil led the charge with 62 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Colten Tarmann added both a rushing and passing score, completing 2-of-4 passes for 33 yards.
Manawa’s offense struggled against Crivitz’s tough defense, managing just seven rushing yards as a team. Quarterback Carson Stroud went 8-of-12 passing for 56 yards and added 8 yards on the ground, while Carter Barrington hauled in four catches for 27 yards. Defensively, Wyatt Drath led the Wolves with 6.5 tackles.
Suring 40, Niagara 8
Suring rolled to a 40–8 road win over Niagara Friday night, improving to 4–1 on the season.
The Eagles jumped out early, scoring 28 first-half points and adding two more touchdowns in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. Junior QB Taylor Booth-Stoffregen led the way, throwing for 109 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 77 yards and another score.
Kroix Kempka added 116 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus 7.5 tackles and a fumble recovery on defense. Niagara got on the board late with a fourth-quarter touchdown but fell to 2–3 on the year.
