SHAWANO, WI – Shawano High School is getting ready to celebrate homecoming, with a full slate of events planned to bring the community together.
Athletics and Activities Director Joel Wondra says some favorites are here to stay for students during the exciting week, “We have our annual homecoming football game on Saturday as we host Luxemburg-Casco.” Wondra said. “And then of course we have the dance that night.” he added.
Homecoming is a chance to honor school spirit and welcome back alumni, athletes, and coaches. The Hall of Fame recognition ceremonies is something to always look forward to. “One of the annual events of homecoming week is the annual hall of fame recognition ceremony, we will honor coaches and those individuals who are being inducted.” Wondra said.
The week wraps up with Shawano’s home football game against Luxemburg-Casco, giving the community one more chance to cheer on the Hawks and cap off the celebration.
