Fox Valley Lutheran 5, Ashwaubenon 1
The Foxes got a W in their win column with a home non-conference win against the Jaguars. FVL put it away in the 1st half with 4 goals, 3 of them coming from Senior Kaleb Williams. Ezra Schaser and JJ Minzlaff added a goal a piece as well. Ashwaubenon’s lone goal came from Senior Ryan Lai.
With the win, FVL improves to 4-3-1 and Ashwaubenon drops to 4-3 overall.
Green Bay West 5, Little Chute 4
Defense was non-existent in a shootout between the Wildcats and the Mustangs. Goals for Little Chute were scored by
Elijah Driessen (2) and Shaymus Smith who had 2. Gavin Fox and Zach Kiel split time in goal, collecting 6 saves over the night but Green Bay West ended up walking away with a home non-conference win.
With the loss, Little Chute drops to 0-7 overall and Green Bay West got their first win and improves to 1-5.
Amherst 8, Bowler/Gresham 0
The Falcons pitched a shutout on the road against the Cats. Isaac Snyder only had 1 save the entire night as Amherst shut down Bowler/Gresham’s attack. Goal scorers for the Falcons included Antek Zoromski-Linde, Xavier Farrey, Milo Graham, Ayden Kazada and Shayden Abbott-Beversdorf.
With the shutout road win, the Falcons improve to 6-0-1 and stay undefeated and improve to 4-0 in the Central WI – 8 Conference. The Bowler/Gresham Cats drop to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in conference.
Shawano 2, Mosinee 1
The Hawks went on the road to Mosinee on Monday and grabbed a road non-conference win. With the win, Shawano improves to 6-2-1 and Mosinee drops to 3-3 overall with the loss.
