SHAWANO, WI – It may still be early, but Christmas planning is already in full swing in Shawano and city leaders say there’s plenty to look forward to this year.
City Clerk Lesley Nemetz says the city is going all-in on making the 2025 holiday season the biggest and best yet, starting with fresh decorations. “We have some new holiday décor that’s getting approved for this coming holiday season at Franklin Park and in the neighborhood,” Nemetz said.
The city is also partnering with both national and local companies to bring new features and photo opportunities to the community. “While we’re working with some national companies with this, we’re also able to work with a few local companies and some local talent that we have here,” Nemetz explained.
Supporting local businesses remains a top priority as part of the city’s holiday planning. With favorite traditions returning and new attractions being added, Shawano is preparing for a festive season designed to bring the entire community together.
