@ Shawano – Shawano Lake GC – Bay North Conference Mini Meet #4
The Bay North Conference girls’ golfers hit Shawano Lake Golf Course on Tuesday for Mini-Meet #4, and local teams made their presence felt across the leaderboard.
Seymour once again showed its depth, cruising to the team title with a 188. Sophomore Maci Heagle led the way with a stellar 44, tying for the day’s low score. The Thunder’s balance was on display with strong support from Lyla Schueler (47), Morgan Lewis (47), and senior Jaelyn Wenninger (50). Junior Ava Skenadore added a 55 as Seymour extended its impressive season.
Shawano claimed runner-up honors with a 203, paced by junior Lauren Seehafer, who fired a solid 46. Senior Madelyn Moesch followed with a 51, while junior Hailey Hawkinson (52), senior Gwyn Hermann (54), and junior Alyssa Singer (56) rounded out a consistent team performance that kept the Hawks comfortably in second.
Bonduel showed fight with a 229, led by junior Paige Wolf, who shot a 51 to pace the Bears. Sophomore Leah Court and senior McKenna Onesti each added 59s, while junior Quinn Hartlaben (60) and senior Elena Schultz (75) helped secure Bonduel’s third-place finish ahead of Oconto and Sturgeon Bay.
@ Winneconne – Lake Breeze GC – Bay South Conference Mini Meet #4
The New London Bulldogs gained more valuable experience on the course Tuesday at the Bay South Conference Mini-Meet #4, hosted at Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne. The Bulldogs finished with a team score of 261, placing fifth in a field led by host Winneconne (203).
Freshman Allie Groff paced New London with a round of 59, showing consistency as the team’s top scorer. Close behind was sophomore Kayla Standish, who carded a 60. Rounding out the Bulldogs’ scoring lineup were sophomore Scarlett Reichenbacher (67), senior Melia Schultz (68), and senior Faye Hehli (73).

The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers Boys Cross Country team took 12th in a loaded field in Marshfield on Tuesday. The Chargers were led by Senior Jonas Bushman who came in with a time of 20:23.

On the girls side of things, The Chargers took 2nd place behind the host Marshfield, led by a 6th place finish from Senior Rory Salvesen and an 9th place finish from Junior Nora Bushman.

The Girls Side of things were very competitive at Manawa on Tuesday with the Amherst Falcons coming in 1st place as a team followed closely by Clintonville who finished 4 points behind.
