BONDUEL, WI – Celebrate Bonduel is inviting the community to a free public event on Saturday, September 13th to honor and celebrate those who serve. The recognition will include firefighters, EMS personnel, police officers, military veterans, and active service members.
The day will begin with a remembrance walk, led by the Bonduel Area Fire Department, starting at 9:45 a.m. Participants are asked to arrive by 9:30 to take part in the walk, which covers a little more than a mile.
Following the walk, a luncheon will be served at 11 a.m. inside the Village Park Pavilion. The afternoon will also feature music, the presentation of the nation’s colors, a short honorary ceremony, and recognition of community members.
Organizers say the event is meant to bring the community together while paying tribute to those who dedicate their lives to public service and protection.
