Wrightstown exploded throughout 48 minutes of play to secure a 35-0 road victory over Sheboygan Falls on Friday night.
Senior running back Brody Wilson was the star on both sides of the ball, rushing for 105 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries while adding nine tackles, five tackles for loss, and two sacks defensively.
Quarterback Daniel Buntin threw for 54 yards, with Preston Nowak hauling in a 34-yard reception to set up scoring chances.
The Tigers’ defense was dominant from start to finish, holding Sheboygan Falls to just 15 total rushing yards and intercepting two passes. The Falcons managed only 31 yards through the air, with sophomore Olen Berg providing a highlight catch for 20 yards and leading the team with seven tackles.
Wrightstown improves to 3-0 on the season, continuing its strong start after wins over Waupaca and Shawano. Sheboygan Falls, meanwhile, falls to 0-3 and is still searching for its first points of the season.
#2 Winneconne 48, New London 6
Senior quarterback Brody Schaffer put on a show Friday night as Winneconne powered past New London 48-6 to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Schaffer was nearly flawless through the air, completing 14 of 18 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 91 yards and another score. His favorite target, junior Ryan Quigley, hauled in six receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown as the Wolves’ offense clicked from the second quarter on.
After a competitive opening quarter, Winneconne erupted with 27 points in the second to take full control, leading 34-6 at halftime. The Wolves added one score in each of the final two quarters, highlighted by explosive plays, including an 83-yard touchdown strike.
New London struck first when senior Dane Meyer connected with Logan Ten Haken on a 15-yard touchdown pass in the opening quarter. Ten Haken finished as the Bulldogs’ bright spot with 39 rushing yards and 18 receiving yards with the lone score. Defensively, senior Howie Roloff led New London with five tackles and a stop behind the line.
Winneconne’s defense was just as impressive, forcing eight punts, racking up 11.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks. Senior Karter Hawthorne paced the unit with 5.5 tackles, including four for a loss.
The Wolves (3-0) look to continue their unbeaten start. New London (0-3) will regroup in search of its first win of the season.
Abbotsford 39, #5 Iola-Scandinavia 0
The Abbotsford Falcons showcased a powerful rushing attack Friday night, overwhelming Iola-Scandinavia in a 39-0 road shutout.
From the opening kickoff, Abbotsford controlled the pace of the game. The Falcons scored 13 points in each of the first three quarters, building a 39-0 lead before easing off in the fourth. Senior quarterback Irvin Aguilera led the charge with 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. He also completed his lone pass of the night for eight yards.
Senior Chase Boller added balance to the backfield, rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown while hauling in the team’s only reception. In total, the Falcons piled up an eye-popping 480 rushing yards on 55 attempts, averaging nearly nine yards per carry. Six different rushing touchdowns highlighted their offensive dominance.
Defensively, Abbotsford kept Iola-Scandinavia off the scoreboard by limiting the Thunderbirds to just 40 rushing yards on 19 attempts. Junior Jesus Reyes anchored the defense with 4.5 tackles, while the Falcons forced two turnovers and recorded four tackles for loss.
For Iola-Scandinavia, freshman quarterback Mason Kriesel showed poise under pressure, completing 5 of 11 passes for 48 yards and adding 33 rushing yards. Sophomore Wyatt Wolberg was his top target, hauling in two catches for 29 yards. Junior linebacker Drake Stilen was a bright spot on defense, finishing with a game-high 8.5 tackles.
With the win, Abbotsford improves to 2-1, while Iola-Scandinavia drops to 1-2. The Falcons will look to keep their ground game rolling next week, while the Thunderbirds aim to bounce back from a tough home loss.
Pulaski 28, De Pere 21
Behind a relentless rushing attack, the Pulaski Red Raiders pulled away late to secure a 28-10 victory over De Pere on Friday night.
The Red Raiders set the tone early with a first-quarter touchdown, and after De Pere briefly closed the gap with 10 points in the second quarter, Pulaski’s defense clamped down. A 14-point fourth quarter sealed the win as Pulaski improved to 2-1 on the season.
Junior quarterback Bohdan Schmidt fueled the offense on the ground, carrying the ball 18 times for 127 yards. Pulaski finished the night with a dominant 308 rushing yards and four touchdowns as a team, wearing down the De Pere defense over four quarters. Senior Gavin Sikorski hauled in the Red Raiders’ lone reception for 14 yards, while senior linebacker Mason Taylor led the defense with seven tackles, including one for loss.
De Pere leaned on its passing game to stay competitive. Senior quarterback Holden Woodfill went 16-of-24 for 177 yards, with senior wideout Sam Robb pulling in seven catches for 105 yards. Senior Caden Schampers punched in the Redbirds’ only touchdown on the ground, but De Pere struggled to establish a rushing rhythm, finishing with just 38 yards on 16 carries. Junior Wade Miles was a bright spot on defense, tallying a game-high eight tackles.
In the end, Pulaski’s ability to control the trenches and dominate time of possession proved to be the difference. The win gives the Red Raiders momentum heading deeper into September, while De Pere drops to 1-2 and will look to regroup next week.
#7 Wittenberg-Birnamwood 34, #7 Weyauwega-Fremont 7
Senior running back Kaden Yaeger put on a show Friday night, racking up 186 rushing yards and three touchdowns as Wittenberg-Birnamwood powered past Weyauwega-Fremont 34-7.
The Chargers struck early with a touchdown in each of the first two quarters to take a 12-0 halftime lead. After a scoreless third, they exploded for 22 fourth-quarter points to put the game out of reach.
Yaeger was the engine of the offense, averaging more than 26 yards per carry on just seven rushes while also adding three receptions for 30 yards. Junior quarterback Bo Davis managed the game efficiently, completing 8 of 9 passes for 73 yards. In total, Wittenberg-Birnamwood churned out 386 rushing yards and five scores, controlling the line of scrimmage all night.
Weyauwega-Fremont’s lone points came in the fourth quarter on a touchdown pass from junior quarterback Carter Birdyshaw, who finished with 66 passing yards. Senior Broc Billington led the Warhawks’ rushing attack with 40 yards on four carries, while sophomore Colby Magdanz hauled in a team-long 31-yard reception. Defensively, senior Bryce Magdanz was a bright spot, finishing with a game-high 10 tackles.
With the win, Wittenberg-Birnamwood improves to 2-1, bouncing back after last week’s tough loss to Tomahawk. Weyauwega-Fremont also moves to 2-1, seeing their perfect start snapped.
Little Chute 42, Waupaca 0
Little Chute exploded for 42 points to defeat Waupaca in a North Eastern Conference matchup Friday night.
The Mustangs leaned heavily on their ground attack, piling up 399 rushing yards. Junior Reece Joten led the way with 177 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Jaden Hermsen added 55 rushing yards and two scores of his own. Hermsen also connected with Trevor Verhagen for an 18-yard completion, the team’s lone pass of the night.
Waupaca was led offensively by senior Kanye Bessman, who rushed for 82 yards and added a 25-yard reception. Sophomore quarterback Wyatt Buenning finished 4-of-9 passing for 40 yards. On defense, senior Landan Plata paced the Comets with 9.5 tackles, including two tackles for loss.
Defensively, Little Chute controlled the line of scrimmage, collecting three sacks, nine tackles for loss, and forcing three fumbles. The Mustangs also capitalized on two interceptions to keep Waupaca off the scoreboard.
With the win, Little Chute improves to 2-1 on the season, while Waupaca drops to 0-3.
Seymour 33, Shawano 13
Seymour used a big fourth quarter to pull away from Shawano in a 33-13 victory.
The Thunder wasted no time, as Cayden Staffeldt returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and an early 7-0 lead. Shawano answered right back when Aidan Rasmussen broke free for a 28-yard scoring run. Staffeldt later connected with Brandon Nepple on a 20-yard strike, and Carter Gassay added a 10-yard touchdown run, giving Seymour a 19-6 cushion at halftime.
Both teams struggled with turnovers after the break. Shawano fumbled at the Seymour 1-yard line and then came up empty again despite a first-and-goal opportunity from the one. A Thunder fumble set up Rasmussen’s second rushing touchdown, trimming the deficit to 19-13 after three quarters. But Seymour sealed the win in the fourth, as Xavier Salzman scored from 29 yards out and Gassay added his second touchdown following a Shawano interception.
Salzman finished with 57 yards and a score on 15 carries, while Gassay ran seven times for 45 yards and two touchdowns. Staffeldt threw for 90 yards to lead the Thunder air attack.
Shawano was paced by Marcus Brezgel’s 73 rushing yards, but the Hawks were limited to just over 100 yards of total offense.
With the win, Seymour improves to 2-1 and Shawano drops to 0-3.
Luxemburg-Casco 27, Denmark 6
The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans stayed unbeaten Friday night, powering past the Denmark Vikings 27–6 in Luxemburg.
The Spartans struck early, jumping out to a 14–0 halftime lead behind steady offensive balance and a stingy defense. Quarterback Eli Derenne contributed both through the air and on the ground, finishing 5-of-10 passing for 72 yards while also rushing for 44 yards and a touchdown. Senior running back Cameron Dorner controlled the pace with 100 rushing yards on 16 carries, while Mason Trimberger added three receptions for 57 yards and led the defense with 11.5 tackles.
Denmark struggled to move the ball until the fourth quarter. Quarterback Jayden Binsfeld connected on 8-of-18 passes for 108 yards and a late touchdown, while senior Steven Kielpikowski carried the load on the ground with 27 rushes for 86 yards. Receiver Mason Jaeger provided a spark with 110 yards on four catches. Defensively, Gentry Brown paced the Vikings with eight tackles.
Statistically, Luxemburg-Casco’s ground game told the story. The Spartans outrushed Denmark 237–107 and held the Vikings scoreless until the final frame. Denmark moved the ball effectively through the air, outpassing Luxemburg-Casco 176–72, but couldn’t sustain drives against a Spartan defense that piled up 68 total tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss.
The Spartans improve to 3–0 on the season, while Denmark falls to 1–2.
Shiocton 35, Clintonville 0
The Shiocton Chiefs picked up their first win of the season Friday night, blanking Clintonville 35–0 in a dominant home performance.
Shiocton got on the board in the first quarter with an early touchdown and never looked back. After a quiet second quarter, the Chiefs exploded for 27 points in the third, putting the game out of reach. Sophomore quarterback Kaleb Voigt led the way, throwing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 45 yards and two more scores. Senior back Jahleel Burnside added 49 yards on just six carries with a touchdown, while junior receiver Brett Singler hauled in three catches for 100 yards and two scores. Defensively, Mason Demerath anchored the Chiefs with seven tackles.
Clintonville, now 0–3, struggled to generate momentum offensively. Senior quarterback Zachary Johnson accounted for most of the Truckers’ production, completing 10 of 20 passes for 64 yards and leading the team in both rushing (14 yards) and tackles (5.5). Junior receiver Caleb Dutton added 21 receiving yards. Despite tallying four sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss, Clintonville couldn’t slow down Shiocton’s balanced attack.
The Chiefs improve to 1–2 on the season. Clintonville continues to search for its first win of the season.
Bonduel 19, Southern Door 0
The Bonduel Bears leaned on a dominant rushing attack and a stifling defense to earn a 19-0 shutout win over the Southern Door Eagles on Friday night in Bonduel.
Junior running back Carter Moesch was unstoppable, carrying the ball 14 times for 174 yards and two touchdowns, including a backbreaking 41-yard scoring run. Moesch also chipped in as a receiving threat, hauling in two passes for 35 yards to round out a big night. Quarterback Quinn Wesenberg was efficient through the air, completing 7 of 10 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown, finding balance for the Bears’ offense.
The Bonduel defense set the tone from start to finish, limiting Southern Door to just 99 rushing yards and 10 passing yards while forcing two interceptions. Junior linebacker Jayden Popp anchored the unit with 8 tackles, while the Bears racked up six tackles for loss and five passes defended to keep the Eagles from ever finding rhythm.
For Southern Door, senior Landon Vandertie battled hard on the ground, rushing 11 times for 60 yards, but the Eagles struggled to sustain drives. Quarterback Caleb Delwiche managed just 10 passing yards on 2 completions while being intercepted twice. Defensively, Lance Veeser stood out with 8.5 tackles and a fumble recovery, but the Eagles couldn’t turn stops into points.
After a scoreless first quarter, Bonduel steadily pulled away, scoring in each of the final three frames to seal the program’s second straight win and move to 2-1 on the season. Southern Door drops to 1-2 and will look to regroup heading into next week.

The Freedom Irish continued their strong start to the season, riding a high-powered passing attack to a 34-14 road victory over the Two Rivers Purple Raiders on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore quarterback Owen Henkel was sharp from start to finish, completing 21 of 28 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite target was junior Aidan Aerts, who hauled in 10 receptions for 84 yards and a score.
The Irish (3-0) struck first with a first-quarter touchdown, then broke the game open in the second with two more scores to take a 21-6 lead into halftime. Freedom added two touchdowns in the third quarter to build a commanding 34-14 advantage and never looked back.
Two Rivers (0-3) showed fight in the second and third quarters. Senior quarterback Noah Shillcox threw for 92 yards and a touchdown, while senior running back Max Matthias battled for 47 rushing yards and a score. Matthias also paced the Raiders’ defense with eight tackles, including three for loss and a sack.
Defensively, Freedom forced two interceptions and held the Raiders to just 33 rushing yards on 26 carries. Meanwhile, the Irish balanced their air attack with 57 yards on the ground and two rushing scores.
