CLINTONVILLE, WI – The Clintonville School District is moving ahead with several facility upgrades following a productive Construction Committee meeting Thursday night at the high school library.
Director of Buildings and Grounds, Stephen Reinke, shared positive updates on the bus garage project, noting that the gravel work, lighting, and other improvements are complete, with the remaining support beam expected to be removed soon. Reinke also outlined upcoming plans, including the removal of old bleachers and the installation of new aluminum seating for school sporting events.
At the end of the meeting, Superintendent Troy Kuhn gave the go-ahead to purchase several items. Those include new blinds for the middle school, OSB for the maintenance shed, landscaping gravel, and an entryway TV with a protective screen.
Kuhn said that if all projects stay on budget, the district should have about $20,000 left over. Another committee meeting is planned for later this fall to decide how those remaining funds will be used.
