TOWN OF LARRABEE, WI – A Larrabee man has been convicted in connection with a death that occurred during a sexual encounter in April 2024.
71-year-old Darwin Huebner pleaded no contest Friday to a charge of second-degree reckless homicide and was also convicted on two counts of possessing child pornography. A sexual assault charge and additional child pornography counts were dismissed under the plea agreement.
The case began when police were called to Huebner’s home last spring, where they found the victim unresponsive. Huebner is scheduled to be sentenced on December 12.
