SHAWANO, WI – Homecoming in Shawano will have a nostalgic flair this year, as organizers announced a throwback theme for the annual parade.
Suzanne Whitman from the Shawano Chamber of Commerce said the parade will take on a “classic board games” theme, giving participants a chance to get creative while celebrating school spirit. She added that multiple school clubs and sports teams will be part of the event, marching to showcase their Hawk pride.
The parade is also an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to get involved and connect with the community.
The route kicks off at the Habitat for Humanity parking lot, travels down Green Bay Street, and finishes at Franklin Park.
