SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano County Board of Supervisors has a new member.
Mike Trinko was appointed this week to represent District 22, filling the vacancy left by Raymond Rigsby. Rigsby resigned last month after being appointed as the new Shawano County Clerk.
County Board Chairman Tom Kautza said five residents expressed interest in the position. Along with Trinko, applicants included Jerry Ahlers and Anne Smith, both of whom ran in the 2022 election, as well as Jim Radtke and Brian Heins.
Trinko will serve on the board until the next election in April 2026.
