NEW LONDON, WI – The City of New London is moving ahead with needed street repairs after the Board of Public Works approved a $55,600 asphalt patching contract with Northeast Asphalt, Inc. of Greenville.
Public Works Director Robert Garske told the board it was the only bid received but noted the price was consistent with past contracts. He called the proposal “decent” and recommended approval.
The contract now advances to the New London Common Council for final consideration. If approved, the patching program will address problem areas across the city in the coming months.
